This elegant necklace is composed of 72 perfectly spherical vintage black onyx beads, each delicately spaced with a slightly ovular ivory freshwater pearl and hand-strung on silk. Newly reconstructed, every element has been selected for its exceptional condition and luminosity. Finished with a solid sterling silver doubling clasp, the piece may be worn long in a singular strand, falling fluidly to mid-body, or doubled to sit closer to the collarbones at equal or varying lengths. With its clean, sculptural form and bright polish, the clasp may also be worn to the front or side as a subtle embellishment. The contrast between onyx and pearl creates a gentle rhythm of light and shadow—deep, polished surfaces set against a soft, organic glow.
