Antique Mother-of-Pearl Interlocking Fish Necklace
Suspended from a double strand of Japanese black glass seed beads, hand-strung on silk thread, this necklace centres around an antique pendant, hand-carved from beautiful mother-of-pearl. The carving depicts two interlocking fish nestled amongst flowing aquatic foliage, finely pierced to reveal the natural iridescence of the shell. The pendant retains its original silver suspension fitting and has been designed to remain removable, allowing it to be worn independently or paired with other chains. The necklace is finished with a handcrafted button closure. Resting just below the collarbones, it lends understated presence to even the simplest silhouette.
